Trying to find the right words to encompass Earl Jones Jr. is not that difficult once you've had a conversation with him. Singer? No. Songwriter? No, he is a psalmist penning music that touches the heart of God with an anointing to minister that same music to bless God's people.

April Walker is an author, innovator, educator, counselor, advocate, mother and native of the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. As a behavior specialist, her mission in life is to address women's issues by traveling the world and speaking to women of all ages about safe guarding one of their most precious commodities, the heart. MORE THAN ONE WAY TO SKIN A DOG was an idea birthed a few years ago as a book concept that quickly grew into a powerful movement that would educate, inform, and be a central reference system for women – Skinadog.com. Signified by the Skin a Dog logo, the book and the website addresses the need for women to protect heart; to hold on to their values and raise the bar in their personal lives; and have privy to all the information necessary to make the right decision in dating and relationships. "My intention for writing the book was not to "bash men", but to expose that which needed to be exposed. Inform, empower, educate, awaken, expose, and unify - are words that lead to change. There is More than One Way to Skin a Dog." - April "Dogcatcher" Walker

To label Claudette Monet as simply a “soul” singer is a huge understatement. Rather, Monet is a full-fledged musical force who always graces the stage with an angelic presence that is paralleled only by the industry’s most celebrated icons. Her music — a mixture of soul, funk, rock and pop — attracts people of all ages, religions, shapes and shades. Monet is all about love, from the songs she sings, to the way she connects with her audience. That love typically comes back two-fold at the end of Monet’s concerts, when her faithful fans fill the room with thunderous applause and cheers. Her voice booms tremendously and her adorable smile is enough to make listeners fall in love over and over again.

In 2006 John undertook producing a solo guitar album with the resources of Filthy Funk at hand. This recording represented a new level of quality (both musicianship and recording) and has generated an astounding level of interest in Filthy Funk's production abilities. Released in late summer of 2007, "Tasty Licks" has generated some great reviews, an amazing CD-release show, and regular rotation on local jazz radio. During the creation of John Viviani's CD, Filthy Funk met up with a new drummer Devon Tramell. He currently performs with the group live and has also become a creative contributor to Filthy Funk Productions. Devon can get down on the trumpet just as nasty as the kit so don't be surprised if you see him bustin out the horn now and again. FF released a compilation disc of the last 7 years of Filthy Funk recordings called 'Beats of Fury' in 2008. It features a crazy amount of talented vocalists, musicians, and producers who have worked with ff in the past, present, and future. A brand new, next level album has just been released by Filthy Funk Productions. "Eklectric" features collaborative, original compositions between Filthy Funk and Danielle Ponder. If you enjoy happy... this record is for you.

How often do you reinvent yourself? How do you know when the old you has expired? So when you do reinvent yourself... what all needs to be reinvented? Apparently, it's a process that will be different for each and everyone of us who takes the plunge. But it shouldn't be too complicated. May be it's a whole new wardrobe or It could even be as simple as... dropping enough baggage from your past, to let your true self show through! That may require a little forgiveness, may be a little healing... some self help or even some professional intervention. Either way... we've got some answers, some opinions, some experts and as always... A Measure Of Truth.

In today's news it not difficult to find stories of ordinary people who have been victims of, Deceitful Practices, Unlawful Actions, Useless Negotiations and Forced Foreclosures... all as a result of the fallout from the Mortgage Banking Crisis. Tonight we examine the story of Tomette Herring's battle against the Banking industry and the steps she was forced to take to save herself from the prospect of foreclosure... in what was supposed to be short sale of her home that began over a year ago. On this weeks show, we talk with Cassandra Clifford, Founder of Bridge To Freedom. This Monday, January 11th, is National Global Human Trafficking Awareness Day (NGHTAD), as set forth by a resolution passed by the US Senate on June 22, 2007, forever marking January 11th as a day of awareness and vigilance for the countless victims of Human Trafficking across the globe. Last years story of 5 year old Shaniya Davis who's mother allegedly sold her into prostitution and was later found dead leaves us to ask some very disturbing questions. "So how and why does human trafficking happen without bounds? First you want to ask, as we all do, “How can a mother sell her child…sell her for sex?”, and while the desperation of addiction and poverty have a role to play, the other question we fail to ask is “who could buy a 5 year-old…who could buy another person?” The heartening reality is that it is the second largest black-market industry in the world, just behind arms and capping that of the drug market, and it is fueled by demand.
